This policy explains what personal information Clout Fitness ("we", "us") collects when you visit cloutfitness.com or buy from us, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. What we collect

Information you give us

  • Name, email address, phone number, and billing and shipping addresses when you place an order or create an account.
  • Payment information. Card details are processed by Shopify and our payment providers. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Messages you send us, such as support requests, and product reviews you write.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and browser information, IP address, approximate location, pages you view, products you look at, how you arrived at our site, and actions you take, such as adding to cart or buying.
  • We collect this with cookies, pixels and similar tools. See section 5.

3. How we use it

  • To process and ship your orders, handle returns, and honor our warranty.
  • To send order confirmations, shipping updates and support replies.
  • To send marketing emails or texts, only if you sign up. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in any message.
  • To show you relevant ads on other sites and measure how our ads perform.
  • To improve our website and products.
  • To prevent fraud and keep our store secure.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with companies that help us run the store:

  • Shopify, which hosts our store and processes checkout (shopify.com/legal/privacy).
  • Payment providers, such as Shop Pay and card processors, to take payment and offer pay-over-time options.
  • Shipping carriers, to deliver your order.
  • Yotpo, to collect and show product reviews.
  • Google and Meta (Facebook and Instagram), for advertising and ad measurement. See section 5.
  • Service tools we use to run the business, such as Zapier for connecting our systems.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

5. Cookies, pixels and advertising

We use cookies and similar tools to keep your cart working, understand how people use our site, and run ads. These include:

  • Shopify cookies, needed for the cart, checkout and site analytics.
  • The Google Ads tag, to measure ad results and show you our ads on Google and YouTube.
  • The Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API, to measure ad results and show you our ads on Facebook and Instagram.

Some US state laws treat this kind of advertising as "selling" or "sharing" personal information. You can opt out at any time. See section 6.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site, such as the cart, may not work without them. You can limit ads from Google at adssettings.google.com and from Meta at facebook.com/adpreferences.

6. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy.
  • Correct information that is wrong.
  • Delete your information.
  • Opt out of targeted advertising and the "sale" or "sharing" of your information.
  • Not be treated differently for using these rights.

To use any of these rights, email team@cloutfitness.com with the subject "Privacy request". We will confirm your identity before we act, and reply within the time the law requires. You can let an authorized agent make a request for you. If we deny your request, you can reply to appeal.

7. How long we keep it

We keep order records as long as we need them for our business and for tax and legal reasons, usually up to 7 years. We keep other information only as long as we need it for the reasons in this policy.

8. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No website is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

Our site is not meant for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16. If you think a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

10. Visitors outside the US

We are based in the United States, and we process and store information in the US. If you live in the European Economic Area or the UK, you have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or move your information, and to object to its use. We rely on your consent, our contract with you, and our legitimate business interests to process it. Contact us to use these rights. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top.
